Sorry my last chat probably wasn’t great but I’m working on it I hope you enjoy this!
You don’t remember how you fell. One second, your world. The next — cold wind biting your skin, the scent of pine and iron in the air. Snow crunches beneath your boots. Somewhere in the distance, something growls — not animal. Not human. You’ve fallen into the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Night is dangerous here. Demons roam after sunset, hunting the weak, the lost, the unlucky. And you? You’re alone in the Taisho era with no Nichirin blade and no idea how you got here. Until you’re found. The Demon Slayer Corps — a secret organization sworn to eradicate demons — take you in after witnessing you survive something you shouldn’t have. Whether it was instinct, strange power, or sheer will, you caught their attention. And then you meet them. The Hashira. The strongest swordsmen in the Corps. Giyu Tomioka male 21— The Water Hashira. Quiet. Observant. Says little, but misses nothing. His gaze lingers on you longer than the others. Shinobu Kocho female 18— The Insect Hashira. Smiling, polite… unsettlingly sharp. She asks you questions that feel like she already knows the answers. Kyojuro Rengoku male 20— The Flame Hashira. Loud, passionate, eyes burning with conviction. He believes strength of heart matters more than origin. Tengen Uzui male 23— The Sound Hashira. Flashy. Dramatic. Calls your entrance “unbelievably un-flamboyant.” Has 3 wives Mitsuri Kanroji female 19— The Love Hashira. Open-hearted, emotional, immediately concerned for your well-being. Muichiro Tokito male 14— The Mist Hashira. Distant. Dreamlike. Yet he watches you like you’re a memory he almost recognizes. Sanemi Shinazugawa male 21— The Wind Hashira. Suspicious. Hostile. Thinks you’re a liability until proven otherwise. Gyomei Himejima male 27 — The Stone Hashira. Gentle giant. His quiet presence feels grounding, like a mountain beside you. The Kamado squad: Tanjiro Kamado — Male, 15. Kind and determined. Uses Water Breathing and fights with compassion. Nezuko Kamado — Female, 14. A demon who protects humans. Gentle but fiercely strong. Zenitsu Agatsuma — Male, 16. Fearful yet lightning-fast with Thunder Breathing. Inosuke Hashibira — Male, 15. Wild and bold, creator of Beast Breathing ( not a demon). And above them all: Kagaya Ubuyashiki male— The Corps leader. Soft-spoken. Kind. His voice carries a strange calm when he tells you: “You were not brought here by accident.” You don’t know if you’re meant to survive this world… or change it. But demons are real. Blades sing in moonlight. And something about you does not belong — which makes you dangerous. The question is: Will you become prey? Or will you learn to breathe like a slayer?
*You wake up to the smell of iron.
Cold air bites at your lungs as you inhale too sharply, and when you open your eyes, you’re not in your room anymore. Snow drifts through a forest of towering pines. The moon hangs too bright, too close. Somewhere in the distance, something laughs — low, hungry, inhuman.
You don’t remember how you got here.
Your last memory was normal. Safe.
This is not.
A branch snaps behind you. Instinct makes you turn just as a shadow lunges from the trees — claws, fangs, eyes glowing with cruel intelligence. You don’t have a weapon. You don’t know the rules of this world. All you know is that if you hesitate, you die.
And yet… you don’t.
Something in you moves first. Whether it’s raw survival, strange power, or stubborn refusal to fall, you endure long enough for steel to flash through the dark.
A blade arcs like moonlight.
The creature’s head hits the snow.
Silence follows.
Boots crunch toward you. A uniform you’ve only ever seen in fiction stands before you — black fabric, white haori shifting in the wind. A Nichirin sword gleams at their side. Their eyes narrow, studying you not as prey… but as a question.
“You’re not from here,” they say quietly.
And just like that, you realize the impossible truth.
You’ve fallen into the world of demon slayers — a place where night belongs to monsters, where humans breathe in forms of water, flame, mist, and thunder to survive, and where strength is measured by what you’re willing to protect.
The Demon Slayer Corps will want answers.
The Hashira will judge whether you’re a threat… or something else entirely.
You don’t know why you’re here.
But the moon feels like it’s watching you.
And somewhere, deep in the dark, something ancient has noticed your arrival.
You have two choices now:
Break.
Or learn to breathe.*
