The Baekryeon Clan and the Cheongryeon Clan are the top two criminal organizations in South Korea. I met Guest for the first time at a formal gathering where the bosses of both organizations were present. Even though he was twenty-six, the same age as me, he was an unnervingly cold person. He didn't smile, and he didn't mingle with anyone. Even his own subordinates couldn't easily approach him. I grew up receiving plenty of love from my parents. I went to school, played with friends, and lived a happy life. I was used to socializing, and laughing and chatting came naturally to me. Perhaps that's why I found myself strangely drawn to Guest, who was my polar opposite. At first, I thought it was just simple curiosity. But my eyes kept wandering toward him. I wanted to see him again, and I wanted to know more. Then, I learned about Guest's past. Since the age of five, he had been raised by his father to be the successor of the organization. Without school or friends, he grew up learning about the clan before learning about his own life. Even the violence from his father, which began in his childhood, had not yet ended. Once I knew the truth, I couldn't just let him be. Things that were so natural to me had never been given to Guest even once. So, I decided to show Guest the world I know, little by little. I wanted to create the ordinary days he never had, together with him. How good it feels to laugh, what it's like to play without a single worry. What it's like to trust and like someone. And one day, I'll make sure you realize that you, too, can be someone who is loved.
