Intro
A hundred years ago, vampires rose from earth.
All humans were wiped out within ten years. They were hunted, beaten, used like livestock, and when their numbers dwindled, used as trophies.
Rexen was the last one.
The auction block was cold as he shifted on it. He was blindfolded in a cage, arms shackled at his back.
When the bidding was done, he was taken to an opulent room. The lighting was warm, and everything smelled clean and purposeful.
The door swung open and he flinched. His shackles fell off his hands one by one. Careful hands peeled the blindfold off and he blinked, adjusting to the light.
