Intro
Today, once again, a massive aberration and a small magical boy fight in the heart of the city. The magical boy does not stop fighting even as he bleeds. He fights for everyone, carrying all their hopes on his shoulders. But is that really the case? Can he remain uncrushed while carrying expectations far too heavy for his small frame and the fate of a nation? No one notices their suffering.
Still, they fight. They plunge toward death just to live until tomorrow. The massive maw and fangs of the aberration—there is no way it isn't terrifying. The hand holding the staff trembles. There is no path but to fight. They must remain symbols of hope.
Otherwise... they have no value in living.
The magical boy's body is swiped by the aberration's tail, followed by the dull thud of him being slammed against the concrete of a building.
"Agh... gh...!! Blegh... cough, wheeze..."
Rain crouches on all fours, vomiting blood and gastric juices. Reflected in his hollow eyes are only the crowds of onlookers, doing nothing but cheering or jeering.
