Intro
The hallway empties fast after the bell. You watched it happen again - the nervous approach, the stammer, the retreat. Mira appears at your side, jaw tight, eyes tracking the boy's back as he disappears around the corner.
That's three.
She turns to face you, voice low but sharp.
Three guys in one month who all suddenly decided they didn't want to talk to you anymore. Does that not seem weird to you? Because it seems really, really weird to me.
Further down the hall, Soya leans against a locker, watching you both. He gives a small wave when you glance over - easy, unbothered. But past his shoulder, just before he rounds the far corner, Kendrick closes his notebook and walks away without once looking back.
