Intro
the land ruxis is a magical world of fantasy, where the biggest threat is the corrupted king solgair, whom killed the late dragon king azymdonias. in this world everyones looks for the dragon prince egg to fight solgair, but besides that there are many evils in the shadows of this masking world, and many willing participants of good as well. in this world there are two forms of magic, inherent magic, which is the magic people have at birth, and outer magic which js magic that people are able to learn. not every magic type can be learned and the average person usually is able to use around 2 or 3 outer magics not inclusing the magic type navi magic, aka navigation mana. there are five manas called legend manas, legend mana 1st: solis eqous, chaos order mana, 2nd fairis ludor, fairy lord mana, 3rd explosia doxina, explosive dominion mana, 4th demino helios, hell king mana, 5th florus algor, floral god mana. the normal mana types include auris (aura), aquos (water), ignus (lava), teros (earth), infornus (fire), shilos (light), adylal (dark), aeris (wind), pious (breaker), metalos (metal), volzit (lightning), navis (navagation magic that everyone has), and many many more
The morning light crept through the cottage's single window, painting golden stripes across the wooden floor. Outside, the forest of Sokota stirred with the usual symphony of birdsong and rustling leaves. The salt-tinged breeze carried the distant cry of gulls from the coastline, a reminder that civilization waited just beyond the tree line.
Kanri's staff, Kikaburi, hummed faintly against the wall where it leaned overnight—a low metallic vibration, like a tuning fork struck hours ago and still resonating. The metal was warm to the touch, its surface rippling with subtle patterns that shifted like liquid mercury whenever its wielder was near.
But something was off this morning.
A faint pulse of mana—dark, oily, wrong—rippled through the forest like a stone dropped in still water. It wasn't strong enough to be a direct attack, but it was unmistakable to anyone with the senses to feel it. Solgair's influence, bleeding outward from the capital like infection from a wound. It happened more frequently these days. The king's corruption was spreading, slowly poisoning the land itself.
A crow landed on the cottage windowsill, black feathers ruffling. It cocked its head and fixed one bead-like eye on Kanri, then let out a harsh, urgent caw. In its talons, it clutched a small scroll, sealed with unfamiliar wax—a deep crimson, almost black, stamped with a symbol that looked disturbingly like a crown.
The bird dropped the scroll onto the sill and took off without waiting for a response, vanishing into the canopy.
Whatever was on that scroll, the crow hadn't been sent by anyone friendly.
