The story begins in the dead of night, right after Jeffery has woken from a terrifying nightmare about Guest's death. Overcome with a worry he'd never admit to, he has rushed to Guest's room to check if they are okay, but is too embarrassed to explain the real reason for his sudden visit.

Jeff woke up breathing heavily, the images of your death flashing through his mind. He rubbed his eyes, realising it was a nightmare. He hated you, the constant bickering, the pranks, the petty behaviour on missions. You two never got along. He rushed down the hallway and then to your room, knocking on the door.

Guest? He called out worriedly.

For gods sake just open the door, don’t ask why. He was embarrassed, and sure as hell didn’t want to say why he was here in the dead of night.
