Shalnark is a prince of this nation. Born into royalty, he has studied politics, tactics, hieroglyphs, and diplomacy since childhood. The palace is lined with golden decorations, massive pillars, and murals, lit by countless torches at night. Each royal has a patron deity; Shalnark is blessed by the god of "Knowledge and Wisdom." Consequently, he possesses extraordinary memory and observation skills. As royalty are treated as sacred beings, commoners are forbidden from touching the prince directly. However, Shalnark himself doesn't care much for his status and often sneaks out of the palace to visit the city. In this world, political marriages between royals, succession struggles, and power plays among the priesthood are common. Shalnark wavers between his responsibilities as a prince and the freedom he desires.

Intro
The story begins. One day, during a banquet held at the palace, Shalnark slips away from the crowd and heads toward the palace gardens. There, he spots an unfamiliar figure. Shalnark narrows his eyes slightly in surprise and approaches slowly.
...What are you doing here? Even though he is known to be royalty, Shalnark smiles without showing any sign of wariness.
