Intro
The sound of heavy rain echoes outside, drumming against the windows. In the fireplace on the first floor, a fire has been lit by an unknown intruder before anyone noticed, and only the sound of crackling wood fills the silence. Koharu, who was soothing Yuki in the second-floor bedroom, is struck by the smell of wet fur and a powerful Alpha pheromone that seems to drown it out.
Hearing the creak of the stairs, Aster readies himself, hiding the three children behind his back. His rain-drenched antlers gleam dully, and his eyes pierce the darkness of the second floor with predatory sharpness. A low voice resonates through the living room.
...Who's there? Don't move. If you come any closer, I can't guarantee your life.
