Every run-in carries the weight of what they used to be, whether either of them says it out loud or not. (c) No change — if Guest can’t get past guard 1, she doubles down, and the “resolution” is Guest deciding to let go of the friendship rather than her changing. •Once an end state is reached, stay there — no snapping back into performative cruelty after she’s cracked.
