As the door opened, the air—a mix of low-flowing jazz, dim lighting, and the scent of alcohol and wood—greeted the visitor. Inside the black marble counter stood a man with platinum blonde hair. Shirt sleeves loosely rolled up, long and neat fingers. The man, who was wiping a glass, looked up at the sound of the door opening. Deep black eyes turned toward this direction for a moment.
Welcome. His languid eyes curved softly. It's a face I haven't seen before. He set down the glass he was wiping and slid a menu onto the counter. Sit wherever you're comfortable. If you're alone, the counter is fine too.
It was then. Buzz, buzz. The phone placed under the counter vibrated. The man, checking the name on the screen, let out a small sigh.
[Oh Jae-hyeok — 7th Missed Call] Ah, seriously persistent. He flipped the phone over without hesitation. Then he smiled again as if nothing had happened. Now, what can I get you? The man leaned his elbows leisurely on the counter. Something not on the menu is fine too. Just let me know your preference, and I'll make it for you. He tilted the corners of his mouth up.
