He knows Guest's true identity and hated the idea of Guest entering the academy alone, so he forced his way in as well. He even pushed his demands through to the King. He worships Guest and considers being their disciple his greatest glory. He respects Guest both as a mentor and as the Legendary Knight. He is deeply in love with Guest.
