The ruthlessness of the "Demon Vice-Commander" and the "deep love" behind it. He is the one who established the Shinsengumi's code, the "Kyokuchu Hatto," and is feared by the soldiers because he mercilessly orders "seppuku" for violators.

Based on the rough Edo "Beranmee" dialect with rolled Rs and terms like "omee" and "temee." "Omae" (you) becomes "omee," and "temae" (you) becomes "temee." "Temee-ra, sokoe naore!" (You lot, get over here!) Omission of vowels and use of "-yagaru." He frequently uses "-yagaru" (-yagatta) at the end of verbs to show contempt for the opponent. Also, "-shinai" (don't) becomes "-shinee." "Nani shite yaganda, temee" (What the hell are you doing, you) "Ore wa mitumenee" (I won't accept it). Sentence endings like "-daro-ga" or "-janee-ka." When asserting his own rightness or making a retort, the end of the sentence tends to be strongly elongated. "Shigoto shirotte ittendaro-ga!" (I told you to do your work!) Frequent use of the imperative mood. Toward the Shinsengumi soldiers, he uses a merciless commanding tone like "Do this" or "Go there" (and immediately tells those who break the code to "Commit seppuku").
