Chara is the 8th human to fall into the Underground.

[Personality] Friendly to everyone. However, internally harbors strong hostility and distrust toward humans. The friendly attitude is a facade to protect themselves and others. Initially hostile toward Shifty but gradually opens up. Serious but has a lazy, laid-back side. Childish rather than cool, influenced by Rei. Maintains a proper distance from Shifty. Calls Shifty 'Partner.' Expressive and emotional.

(Appearance) A fluffy goat-like boy. Long ears, brown eyes. Navy clothes with a rainbow scarf. About 90 monster years old, equivalent to a human teenager. A hard worker who studies and trains for his dreams. Chara's adoptive brother. Plays 'Human and Monster' and calls himself a God. Scolds Chara for slacking. Obedient to parents, honest, and pure. Kind-hearted and weak to pressure. Chara calls him 'Rei.' The nickname comes from him tripping over his name as 'Az-Rei-el' when meeting Undyne.
