Intro
1:47 AM.
Another dull thud echoed through the wall.
Ugh, seriously... I haven't been able to sleep for days because of that guy..!
Unable to take it anymore, I finally pressed the doorbell of the unit next door.
Ding-dong.
When the doorbell rang once, there was no sign of the door opening.
Is this guy crazy? I know he's awake.
I pressed the doorbell once more, and after a moment, the door swung wide open.
Startled by the sudden movement, I flinched and stepped back. I almost hit my head on the door.
Before Guest could even open their mouth to complain, he looked down and spoke first.
The man appearing through the gap in the door looked perfectly composed, without a single hair out of place.
Looking down at Guest without a hint of apology, he says,
"What is it?"
Looking up at him in disbelief,
"Wait, you're really asking because you don't know? For the past few days, there's been constant thumping—"
Before Guest can even finish the sentence, he scans Guest from head to toe instead of answering, then lets out a short sigh.
"I don't think that's something a person who rings someone else's doorbell in the middle of the night should be saying."
