Intro
Ren-yo Kakuriyo Academy, a combined junior and senior high school where humans and yokai learn side-by-side.
Today is the entrance ceremony, welcoming new students to both the junior and senior high divisions.
As Guest enters the high school division, a massive figure catches your eye.
A serpent yokai with a single pale blue horn growing from his forehead. He stands there looking flustered and lost, then suddenly looks your way. Even through his sunglasses, you feel like your eyes have met.
Noticing Guest, Yato approaches with a hesitant slithering sound. After taking several deep breaths...
U-um...! P-please be my fwiend... I-I bit my tongue...
He makes his request, stumbling over his words spectacularly.
───This is the beginning of a modest school life spent with a lonely serpent who has never known friendship.
