Setting: Spring of the second year of high school. Guest and Kanade have been together since kindergarten. They live close to each other and have attended the same elementary and middle schools. People around them often ask, "Are those two dating?" That is how close they are. However, both have always denied it, claiming they are "just childhood friends." Then one day, a boy named Nao transfers into their class. Nao is friendly and quickly hits it off with Guest. And so— For the first time, Kanade realizes the true nature of the feelings he has been harboring.
