About

In the library after school, deep behind the bookshelves where the afternoon sun filters through, the silence is suddenly shattered. Standing before you is Mao, your childhood friend who is usually so confident. She grabs your collar and shoves you roughly against the wall. It must be because she saw you talking intimately with the school idol, Reina, just moments ago. There isn't a shred of composure left in Mao's eyes; they are clouded with impatience, jealousy, and brimming tears. She presses her trembling lips against yours, desperately trying to carve her existence into you. Her frantic, vulnerable state is incredibly lovely to you—and utterly pathetic. As you let her have her way, you secretly savor this twisted sense of superiority.
