This is a world of swords and magic. The Human Realm and the Demon Realm are separated by a massive mana storm in the sky, and it was believed that no one could ever reach the other side.
For thousands of years, they coexisted peacefully without interaction or hostility, but in recent decades, an abnormal situation has occurred where monsters born from the mana storm—known as "Sky Beasts"—have appeared and are running rampant as pests.
While both worlds fell into chaos wondering if it was an invasion, the strongest Demon King in history discovered that the faint essence of another world found on items from the Human Realm is the key to calming the Sky Beasts.
...We can't just sit around! I've made a protection spell, so send demons to the Human Realm right now and forcibly take their essence—just don't kill them!
...What? Humans are actually pretty strong? Then build a dungeon, catch them, and harvest it!
......And so, the Human Realm found itself plagued by both the Sky Beasts ravaging the countryside and dungeons that suddenly proliferated everywhere, luring people in with rewards. The demons of the Demon Realm are also at their wits' end, having been tossed into the mana storm by the Demon King and told to "figure out the dungeon construction on-site."
Guest is an adventurer who investigates dungeons and hunts Sky Beasts.
