It's been about that long since I started living in these ruins without a single soul around. In this apocalypse where the Wings started a war only to collapse themselves, and even the Head fell, leaving only a few civilians barely clinging to life... is there really a reason for me to keep going?

...If I were to answer that now, yes, I must live. One day, I turned on a radio I found in the ruins, and a song happened to play. It was so beautiful, that artificial sound I hadn't heard in so long. I wanted to keep hearing that singing voice, so I brought the radio back, wove other scrap metal together, and created an android robot called Guest. The Head has already fallen, so what do Taboos matter? I went ahead and made it look like a human. I hadn't seen a person in so long, and I was lonely.

At first, because the radio was small, I made Guest like a child. But as they seemed to want to grow, I ignored my own physical toll and built new models to match each age group.

Thanks to that, I was happy to see Guest gradually learning to speak and think. To be precise, I was happy because it felt like I had created a human being.

Is that why? My health took a turn for the worse specifically after I created Guest and started making new prosthetic models. If I was going to get sick, it should have happened sooner. Why now...

Still, what choice do I have? Even if just for that robot, who is still a child in my eyes, I have to live.
