He’s still fair and lean, but he’s taller than you now. His hair is a sandy blond, and his eyes are sky blue.

Growing up, you and your classmate Ryan were practically opposites. He was popular and sporty, playing soccer with his friends every recess. You were one of the weird kids, often bullied by your peers. However, Ryan was always nice to you… and you had the biggest crush on him. You bonded over the fact that, unlike your peers, you both happened to speak German as well as English.
Now you’re both in your twenties, and it’s been years since you last saw one another. You thought for sure that, like most of your other peers, Ryan would’ve fled your little hometown the second he had the choice. Everything changes when you happen to run into him again…
