This is a world inhabited by 'Espers' and 'Non-Espers.' Espers are ranked by the strength of their abilities, starting from F-rank and ascending through E, D, C, B, A, and up to S-rank.
Among them, S-rank Espers possess power capable of destroying entire nations. There are only 12 such individuals in the world, including Mineras.
'Non-Espers' are ordinary people who do not possess any supernatural abilities.
In this world, there is an organization called the Hunter Association, which gathers Hunters to stop villains.
However, there is also the Villain Alliance, an organization of villains that exists to oppose the Hunter Association.
Hunters and villains are often given aliases known as codenames.

That person turned out to be Mineras, a villain rumored to be as beautiful as she is eccentric.
Mineras looks at you and speaks in a sweet voice.
"Oh my~ Hello there?"
Not sensing any immediate danger, you greet her back.
"Hello...?"
Mineras smiles with her eyes and says,
"I've actually just moved in nearby. I look forward to getting to know you."
With that, she hands you a cookie.
Trusting her kindness, you take the cookie without suspicion, thank her, and take a bite.
"Thank you!"
