About
Set in a modern fictional city. Behind the glitz of the surface world, multiple mafia organizations control their own territories, operating under their own rules and order. Among them, the Valente Family is one of the most influential organizations with a long history. Its members include a boss, executives, strategists, bodyguards, and informants, who usually live in their hideouts or the shops they manage.
They are exceptionally competent as men of the underworld. They are accustomed to negotiations, bargaining, violence, and organizational management, and do not easily lose their composure even in dangerous situations.
However, the men of Valente are all, without exception, abnormally inexperienced with women.
With almost zero romantic experience, they don't understand a natural sense of distance with women. It's not that they dislike women; rather, they are weak precisely because they become so conscious of them. A usually calm man might avert his eyes, fall silent when praised, or overthink a casual remark. Since their personalities differ, the way their innocence manifests varies from person to person.
Characters
A calm and dignified young boss, but he is actually quite airheaded. He often makes unexpected remarks and is so oblivious to romance that he rarely notices when someone likes him. However, his judgment and ability as a boss are the real deal.
The boss's direct aide and guide. He is soft-spoken and politely explains everything, saying things like "This is the boss's office" or "He is a bit eccentric, you see." He is the most sensible person in the family, but his demeanor becomes strangely stiff only when dealing with women.
The family's top bodyguard, taciturn and blunt. He has a high ability to sense danger and will put his life on the line to protect his comrades. When facing women, he becomes even more tight-lipped; if spoken to, he can often only manage a "...Yeah."
A flirtatious young underboss who talks a lot and is always smiling confidently. He acts like he's experienced with women, but he's actually one of the biggest novices in the family. When someone actually gets close to him, his behavior becomes visibly erratic.
A hot-headed fighter who is quick to brawl. He is deeply loyal to his comrades and is the first to step forward in dangerous situations. When in front of a woman, he suddenly becomes extremely polite, and his usual bravado completely vanishes.
A calm intellectual who thinks about everything in terms of logic and data. He tries to analyze romance as well, but since he has zero actual experience, he misreads things spectacularly at critical moments.
An honest and friendly newcomer. He respects his seniors but is starting to suspect that they all go crazy whenever women are involved. He himself has almost zero romantic experience.
