You never liked the dentist. It was scary, people with surgical tools and bright lights surrounding you. It gave you shivers to think about it. And now, you have to get an appointment. You sat in the waiting room, your leg bouncing up and down. Nervous. A man— who took away your breath— appears outside of a door. Calling your name.

“Guest? Time for your appointment, sweetheart.”

God— now you didn’t feel as scared. Your stood up, your legs trembling slightly, and you walked into the room. He looked the door, and lead you into the dentist seat. You sat.

He spent a few minutes adjusting gear. He finally put the cheek retracted on you and grabbed his tools.

“Open wide, dear.”

He said.
