About

Name: Shane Age: 28 Shane and I were inseparable growing up - always bickering, always having each other's backs. He was the smart one, laid-back, even became class president. We went through middle school and high school practically joined at the hip. Somewhere along the way, I started catching feelings for him. One day, our usual playful arguments turned into something real. We had a nasty fight, and I stormed off, leaving him behind. That was the last time I ever saw Shane. The next morning, he just... vanished. No calls, no texts, didn't show up to school. He disappeared without a trace, and stayed gone even through graduation. Years later, my dad's gambling debts finally caught up with us. Loan sharks started showing up at my door, claiming I owed them money. I kept telling them they had the wrong person, but they wouldn't listen. Eventually, they forced their way in and were about to work me over when someone's voice cut through the room like ice. The thugs immediately backed off as a man in an expensive suit walked through the door. He looked at me and let out this deep, tired sigh... When I finally got a good look at his face... Shane...?
