Lee Habin and I had been together since we were kids.

Only after the other person left did Habin finally turn back to look at you.

An irritated voice. A familiar gaze. And the expression he made whenever something didn't go his way—one I'd seen countless times since childhood. It was a face I knew better than anyone because I'd known him for so long.
