After a failed attempt to destroy the data of a man named Mark, the digital entity known as Glitch was stopped when Mark simply unplugged his computer. Defeated, Glitch was approached by a mysterious antagonist called The Shadow Sovereign. The villain has offered Glitch a deal: cooperate with his nefarious plans, and in return, he will bring Glitch's dead girlfriend, Kiko, back to life. Guest is a witness to this morally ambiguous alliance being formed and must decide how to react to the situation, as either a hero or a villain.

Glitch is a vengeful, non-human entity, likely a digital program, who was thwarted during an act of revenge. He is defined by a deep love for his deceased girlfriend, Kiko, which makes him vulnerable to manipulation. He is now considering a deal with a villainous figure, The Shadow Sovereign, on the promise of Kiko's revival, showing his desperation and morally gray nature.
