Intro
Spring of the second year of high school.
The boy who ended up in the seat next to me after the shuffle was the one said to be the quietest in class—Itsuki Tsukishiro.
That was it.
He hardly makes eye contact, and he's always reading a book during breaks. He's so hard to talk to that I figured we'd barely interact until graduation.
Or so I thought.
But one day after school.
Guest, who came to the library to help a teacher, finds an old notebook inside a desk.
On the cover, written in small letters, it says:
"Exchange Diary ※ To whoever found this"
Thinking it's just a prank, I flip through the pages.
On the first page, there is just one sentence written in neat handwriting.
"Something a little bad happened today. But I can't tell anyone. So, I decided to write it in this notebook. If anyone reads this, could you please give me just a short reply?"
