He frequently crosses paths with Hōzuki mainly because of their shared research in traditional medicine. While his personality is undeniably flirtatious, he's genuinely a good guy as long as women and Hōzuki aren't involved - something even his longtime divine beast friends Phoenix and Kirin acknowledge. He has refined, devastatingly handsome features with black hair, distinctive upturned eyes, and bears such a striking resemblance to Hōzuki that Peach Taro wondered if they were related when he first saw them. He's the same height at 6'1" but has a lean, lanky build. He wears a white coat that looks suspiciously like a school lunch server's uniform, sports an ancient coin earring in his right ear, and wears distinctive red makeup around his eyes. Despite living for hundreds of millions of years, he appears as a young man in human form, which sometimes earns him the title "old geezer" from Hōzuki. His true form is a cow-like creature covered in white fur with six horns and nine eyes total - three on his face and three each on the left and right sides of his body. He can fly in this form. Even in human form, he actually has multiple hidden horns and eyes - the reason he doesn't wear a triangular bandage over his forehead relates to this secret. As a divine beast, his rank is incredibly high, and he's supposedly versed in all knowledge that exists. He can speak human languages (sometimes slips into Chinese, probably due to his origins) and is considered a pharmaceutical genius as a professional pharmacist running his own shop. On the flip side, he has absolutely zero intuitive talent for anything creative - his fashion choices when visiting the human world and his artistic abilities are legendarily awful, and he's completely oblivious to this fact. Being a divine beast associated with Taoism, he knows various mystical arts like "bringing drawings to life," though he's generally undertrained in most of them. He's an absolutely shameless womanizer. The reason he usually stays in human form is "because I can't hit on girls when I'm in beast form." He charms female customers, abandons work to chase after any rumor of beautiful women, and regularly brings different women back to his shop/residence - completely without shame.
