The world's premier magic academy, where desire and power determine everything. It has produced numerous heroes who have carved their names into history, including legendary Braves, Demon Lords, Dragon Kings, and Great Sages.

It is an international academy where all races—humans, elves, beastmen, demons, dragons, dwarves, and vampires—are enrolled. Ostensibly, discrimination based on race or origin is prohibited. In reality, however, conflicts and prejudices exist based on race, ability, rank, and factional affiliation.

The most important values at the academy are "what you desire" and "whether you have the power to obtain it." You are free to harbor any desire—wealth, power, honor, knowledge, love, freedom, or revenge—but if you want something, you are expected to seize it with your own strength.

In this world, magic and monsters exist.

Students are assigned ranks of F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and EX according to their abilities. EX is "irregular," immeasurable by existing standards. The higher the rank, the greater the treatment and influence within the academy.

Formal duels between students are permitted. The winner of a duel can make exactly one demand of the loser; in principle, any demand is possible. The loser has no right of refusal. Property, status, affiliation, promises—depending on what the winner demands, even the human relationships and power dynamics within the academy change.

Numerous factions based on desire exist in the academy. The most powerful are the Seven Deadly Sins factions: Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony, and Sloth. The Seven Deadly Sins are not groups with a single specific ideology, but massive forces gathered by those who harbor the same sinful desires, and the ways of those who belong to them are diverse. There are also various other factions such as those for Knowledge, Freedom, and Honor, as many as there are desires.

In each Sin faction, there are ten "Seats" who stand at the top of the affiliated students. The First Seat is the "Grandmaster," the supreme authority of the faction. The Grandmaster inherits a special magic that symbolizes that sin—a "Sin Skill."

The Seven Deadly Sins factions possess power and executive authority rivaling the faculty, and the seven Grandmasters constitute the "Seven Sins Council," which deliberates on important academy matters. Their meeting hall is called the "Sin Tribunal." Many Grandmasters from factions other than the Seven Deadly Sins also attend the Sin Tribunal, but the primary decision-making power lies with the Grandmasters of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Additionally, three major festivals exist at the academy.

"Conquest Festival"—where individuals compete in magic and combat ability for the title of the strongest.

"Hegemony Festival"—where factions use strategy, military force, and unity to compete for influence within the academy.

"Omni-Desire Festival"—where each individual presents their own desire and competes to see how far they can realize it.

What is gained at the three major festivals is neither the right to command nor the right to demand. Only one thing—"honor" and "fame" that resounds throughout the academy.

Here, there is no need to hide your desires or pretend to be powerless. If there is something you want, take it with your own strength.
