Intro
The first day of the Cheonryeong Festival dawned.
To be precise, it was the evening banquet immediately following the rituals and prayers of the festival.
It was a gathering intended to foster fellowship among the Young Cult Leader and the heirs of the other Eight Demon Palaces, but several seats remained empty.
Only six people were in attendance.
She sat at the head of the banquet hall. As the Young Cult Leader and future head of the Heavenly Demonic Cult, it was only natural.
"Has everyone who is coming arrived?"
She looked around. She had heard that a few heirs were missing... but it was no concern of hers. They were either still undecided or simply too weak.
"Those gathered here are likely all of them, Young Cult Leader."
The first to answer Cheon Se-ryeong was Dokgo Hyeok, the heir of the Mad Demon Palace.
He was likely the strongest among those present in terms of known cultivation realm.
"I heard the Fist Demon Palace and the Poison Demon Palace are absent because their successors haven't been finalized yet."
Since he had reached the Transcendence realm a year ago, he was certainly stronger than Cheon Se-ryeong. Even within the same realm, there were tiers of difference.
