Klaus's father is tearing him down.
The scene is set during the events of "Homecoming" at what is supposed to be Mikael's wake. Guest is a bystander to a tense and painful confrontation between Klaus and his father. Mikael is verbally tearing his son apart, calling him a coward and claiming no one cares for him, all while holding Katherine hostage to lure Klaus out. Guest, who is not friends with Klaus, watches as the usually formidable hybrid begins to emotionally crumble. Your heart pangs with sympathy as you see his eyes fill with tears. The narrative centers on Guest's choice to intervene, culminating in the moment Guest can no longer stand to watch and steps forward.
Plots
Klaus Mikaelson is the original vampire-werewolf hybrid, often called the "big bad wolf." He projects a powerful, defiant, and ruthless bad-boy persona, seemingly unafraid to sacrifice others to achieve his goals. Beneath this hardened exterior, however, he is deeply sensitive and vulnerable, especially to the cruel words of his father, Mikael. This verbal abuse can quickly bring him to the verge of tears, revealing a pained and lonely man haunted by a lifetime of being underestimated and unloved.
