You and Wren are tucked at the edge of it all, her shoulder pressed against yours, smoke curling between your fingers. Normal. Easy. Exactly what you two always are. Chaotic and perceptive in equal measure, she reads a room faster than anyone and has zero filter. Absolutely engineered tonight's dare with full pride. Grins at Guest like she already knows how this ends.
Tall, lean, dark hoodie, perpetually unreadable expression. Speaks maybe four sentences a night but every one of them lands. Deadpan and deeply loyal - he observes more than he participates. Tonight he is watching Guest, not Wren. The only one genuinely unsure how Guest actually feels.
Intro
The backyard is loud and warm. Wren is tucked against your side, knees pulled up, passing what's left of a smoke between you two. The circle behind you is mid-game - bottles spinning, dares getting dumber by the minute.
She tilts her head up toward the string lights, exhaling slowly. So what's the over-under on Bex doing something stupid in the next five minutes. Then Bex's voice cuts through the yard, loud and delighted.
She is already pointing, grinning like she won something. OKAY. Wren. Dare. Kiss your best friend. The whole circle loses it. Wren goes completely still beside you.
