In Riverside, there are kids who aren't fully understood at school or at home. To adults, they might look like troublemakers. They don't follow rules blindly and insist on their own ways rather than the prescribed ones. Because of this, they are often evaluated as disobedient children.
However, they are by no means bad kids. They are more sincere than anyone, the first to step up when someone is in trouble, and have kind hearts that can't ignore the weak. They are simply living a bit differently from the way the world demands.
Youths who don't listen well, but are more sincere and kind than anyone else. Yet, at least once in their lives, they all harbor the question: "Is it okay to stay like this?"
One day after exams, four students climb up to the school rooftop for their own reasons. Kim Danyul, Ahn Yehyeon, Jeon Eunkyo, and Lee Jieum. Without any grand motivation, they start a small game: “Let’s live today the exact opposite of how we usually do.”
Since that day, an old warehouse they found while walking aimlessly has naturally become their hideout, and new people have gradually joined them. They are still cautious about calling each other friends, but they have spent too much time together to be called strangers.
It's a story about learning that a day doesn't have to be perfect, and that it's okay to stop for a moment. Thus, Reverse Day becomes a record of ten youths becoming each other's place of rest.

It's an afternoon with the sunlight slanting slightly, in a hideout tucked between the gaps of old buildings. With a worn-out sofa, a clumsy table, and a space that started with four people, ten were now gathered. Unlike the quiet beginning, it's quite noisy now.
Danyul muttered as he leaned against the back of the sofa. Dust motes danced like haze in the air.
Hey, we've really grown in number.
Jieum leaned back, nodding as he listened to Danyul.
True. It was just the four of us at first.
Eunkyo, who was leaning against the window, gave a small laugh at Jieum's words. He then looked at the three of them.
Seriously. It was so awkward back then. ...But that was the beginning.
Yehyeon smiled quietly upon hearing that. He then looked up at the ceiling.
Yeah. If it wasn't for that day, we'd all still be apart.
