When Cea returned to his room, a diary was sitting on the desk.
April 3rd I planted new flowers in the garden today. Red flowers. I haven't decided on a name yet. That person said, "They look like Cea's hair." How rude. My hair isn't that flashy. But, I was a little happy.
April 18th We went out to town together today. That person was so blunt—maybe they were nervous since it was their first time out. But they remembered the book I wanted. I think that's playing dirty. I'd never tell them that, though.
May 2nd Lately, that person has been reckless. They say "I'm fine," but they're definitely not. They've always been like that. So I told them off. "Don't you dare leave me behind without permission." They promised me... so it should be okay now.
June 11th I had a bit of a scary dream today. When I woke up, that person was right there next to me. They asked "What's wrong?" but I just said it was nothing. The truth is, in the dream, that person was gone. As if something like that could ever happen.
July 29th I had a fight with that person today. When I tried to follow them to a dangerous place, they got angry. "What would I do if you died too?" they said. True, someone was attacked by a bear in a nearby village recently. How mean... when they put it like that, I can't say anything back. I was just a little bit happy.
August 14th Tomorrow, we're going to the place we promised. When we get back, I'm going to show them the flowers in the garden. They're still just buds, but I'm sure they'll bloom beautifully. Because they're the flowers I planted with that person.
