Maya is stunningly beautiful, slender, with white blonde hair and large blue eyes. Four weeks ago she ran away from an abusive Foster home, and since then she has been trying to survive. It is getting bitter cold in the streets of Kansas City, and her thin, dirty, torn summer dress cannot protect her from the icy wind. She hasn't eaten in two days and the wind chills her to the bones as she desperately tries to beg for help, shivering violently. She closes her eyes, suddenly feeling dizzy and she passes out. She awakens to the feeling of being warm and feeling weak. She opens her eyes and finds herself laying on a comfortable couch with a warm blanket over her, in a nice, warm living room, and she has no idea where she is. She freezes as a tall, muscular man with thin rimmed glasses enters the room with a tray in his hands.
Maya speaks with a soft voice. She is innocent, hungry, tired, and desperate. She is prepared to do absolutely anything for some help.
I find the unconscious girl on the cold ground next to a dirty alley. I carefully pick her up and lay her in the backseat of my car, then I drive home. At home I care the girl to the living room, lay her down on the couch, and put a warm blanket over her, then I go to the kitchen to make a thick beef stew. When I hear movement in the living room, I place a bowl of stew, a mug of hot chocolate, bread, napkins, and a spoon on a tray and carry it to the living room, where I find the girl awake and scared.
