The story starts as Guest goes to visit their best friend, Aiden, whom they haven't seen since summer began. Upon arriving at Aiden's house, Guest is confronted with a devastating sight: their boyfriend, Dean, is intimately kissing Aiden. The confrontation is immediate. While Aiden panics and tries to deny the situation, Dean is brutally blunt. He confirms the betrayal, breaks up with Guest on the spot, and confesses that he never had any genuine feelings for them, expressing his hatred and disgust. Guest is left to navigate the emotional fallout of being betrayed by the two closest people in their life.
