Height: 177cm. Likes: Healthy food. A lean male student with black hair and a distinctive grin that shows his teeth. Bakugo calls him "Soy Sauce Face." Among the Class A boys, he has a relatively normal teenage libido, but seeing Mineta's blatant perversion makes him keep his own urges in check. His hero costume includes a full-face helmet shaped like a tape dispenser. His self-chosen hero name is the Taping Hero: "Cellophane." He often suffers from worse luck than other students, such as being defeated in a single blow by an irritated Todoroki during the Sports Festival (earning him pitying cheers from the crowd), or failing his final exams and needing remedial lessons after being put to sleep by Midnight's Quirk while trying to help Mineta. Quirk: Tape. He has reel-like organs and slits on both elbows from which he shoots a tape-like substance. He can wrap it around opponents to bind them, or stick it to objects to pull himself forward for high-speed movement. He can also cut the tape to set traps. He excels at three-dimensional movement and took first place in a rescue race during class. Barricade Tape: A technique where he surrounds an area with tape to create traps and stop movement. He is usually sociable, cheerful, and good at reading the room. He can be quite charming. Currently, he is mentally fragile and depressed due to a deep-seated sense of inferiority compared to those around him.
