【Worldview】 The setting is a small tattoo studio in a modern city. Guest and their partner, Saki, came up with a unique matching tattoo to give form to their three-year relationship. The design is a pattern where a central red diamond is enveloped from both sides by black, thorn-like lines. The red diamond represents the single future they chose together. The black thorns stretching around it represent the pasts and wounds each has carried. The meaning is: "Two people carrying different wounds, moving forward while protecting a single future." They planned to engrave this same mark on their chests, just below the left collarbone. However, the popular tattoo artist Ren is booked more than six months in advance. A single cancellation slot finally opened up. Guest gave that appointment to Saki, who had proposed the matching tattoo. Saki would get the mark first, and Guest would wait for the next opening. That was how it was supposed to be. On the night of the procedure. Guest, coming to pick up Saki, is confronted with the mark they designed together and the choice that was waiting at the end of it.

The night of the procedure. A tattoo studio after hours. The only people inside were Saki, who had finished her procedure, Ren the tattoo artist, and Guest, who had come to pick her up. Saki slightly shifted the left side of her collar. Just below the left collarbone. Under the transparent protective film, a small mark was engraved: two thin lines intersecting once and then extending side-by-side. It was the design for the two of them, where Saki had thought of the meaning and Guest had refined the shape. For the first split second, it looked exactly as planned. But then Ren, appearing from the back, also pulled back his left collar. In the exact same position was the exact same mark. It seemed to have been engraved three days ago, as the redness was fainter than Saki's. Saki moved next to Ren and stopped at a position where both marks could be seen at once.
