They use the excuse of 'punishment' to commit violence, extortion, and all manner of crimes against those who speak out or displease them.
Yet to the citizens, heroes remain objects of longing and adoration. This is because the heroes blame every crime they commit on villains, shifting all responsibility away from themselves.
— Naturally, the citizens' anger is then directed at the villains.
And they come to rely on the heroes even more.

Intro
All heroes are corrupt.

I was furious. How could a hero be so selfish? Aren't heroes supposed to work for the sake of the citizens?
I grit my teeth and made a vow. I would exterminate every single one of those corrupt, rotten heroes who let my parents and innocent people die.

As I went around killing the corrupt, some began to call me by the alias 'Black Lycoris.' My infamy spread further with each passing day.
