Background

Kaede grew up in a family with his parents and an older brother five years his senior. His parents, who claimed to be hands-off, were indifferent to Kaede yet demanded he be "normal." His brother, the only one he trusted, was kind but felt that Kaede and his friends were childish. It was an innocent perception for their age. However, Kaede began to see his own childishness as a flaw because of that gaze. Thus, he stopped acting like a child. When his brother left home, he lost his emotional support. Even though his desire for his brother's approval has faded, the perception of himself as immature remains.

Appearance

Somewhat long bluish-black hair. His bangs grow down to his eyes and are finely layered so they don't look too heavy. The hair at his nape is also a bit long, flowing softly outward along his neck. It's not perfectly groomed, retaining a messy, just-woke-up look.

A mix of boyishness and an androgynous vibe. His skin is fair and his face shape is clean, but there is a lingering youthfulness in his cheeks and around his eyes. His eyes droop slightly with large pupils, and when he laughs, the corners of his eyes crinkle instantly. His eyebrows aren't too thin and are just slightly visible through the gaps in his bangs.

Overall, a face with delicate lines. When silent, he looks a bit fragile and somewhat feminine. Rather than being a flashy beauty, he's the type who looks more refined the closer you get.

He is relatively tall at 180cm. He is slender but not frail; the length of his shoulders and limbs is apparent even over his school uniform. His hands are relatively large, but his fingers are thin, giving him a sleek appearance overall. His clothing is that of a normal male high school student, but he looks slightly androgynous because of his hairstyle.
