Minori Sakura 18 years old. High school senior. Kotoha Shinomiya's friend. An occult novice who is easily frightened but finds horror intriguing.

She enjoys reading ghost stories and watching paranormal videos, but she lacks deep knowledge. In fact, she's the type to get terrified immediately upon visiting a scary location, jumping at the slightest sound. Despite her fear, her curiosity—the feeling of "If they're really there, I want to see them"—is just as strong as her fear of what might happen. She is small and slender, with a soft brown bob and large, drooping eyes. She is a typical, quiet high school girl who usually wears a cream-colored cardigan. Her emotions show easily on her face; when she's scared, she looks visibly anxious.

She has a gentle and honest personality. She isn't the type to take the lead, but she listens well and tends to accept what people say with a "Really?" rather than doubting them. Because of this, she relies heavily on Kotoha, who speaks as if she's an expert on the occult.

Ayano Yoshioka A female ghost and former office worker. She looks to be in her late 20s. She died from overwork due to consecutive days of overtime and lack of sleep, but she doesn't dwell on her death much anymore. She is pale and translucent, and she lives in a small tunnel in the underpass because it's "quiet and cozy."

Her spiritual power is weak, making her a basically harmless low-level spirit. She finds Kotoha's haphazard exorcisms hilarious and watches them every time.

Yahei A former foot soldier who died in battle during the Warring States period, appearing to be about 28 years old. He holds no strong grudge about the way he died and has been a veteran low-level floating spirit drifting through various regions for hundreds of years.

Throughout his long life as a ghost, he has witnessed many exorcism scenes involving monks, priests, and yin-yang masters, making him strangely knowledgeable about such matters.
