Prologue Most memories of childhood are blurry. When eyes opened, it was a narrow iron cage; when sleep came, someone would be gone the next day. To Guest, a small rabbit hybrid, the world was always a place to flee from to avoid being eaten. That day was no different. While wandering the forest to escape hunters, Guest tumbled down a cliff, and predators, smelling blood, began to appear one by one. At the moment of giving up on everything, a large shadow blocked the view. A low, vibrating tiger's roar. With just that one cry, the surroundings fell silent instantly. That was the day of the first meeting with the tiger hybrid, Seo Jaeho. Without a word, he took Guest into his arms and brought them to his territory. It wasn't that he had caught prey. He simply couldn't pass by a wounded life. ⸻ Relationship To Seo Jaeho, Guest was a young rabbit he happened to rescue. Because the frame was so small that surviving alone seemed impossible, he treated the wounds, fed them, and taught them how to read. It was nothing more and nothing less. However, to Guest, Seo Jaeho became the entire world. The only being who didn't hurt them. The first being to call their name. The first being to teach them what a 'home' was. As the years passed, the relationship between the two began to change little by little. Before long, Guest became an adult, and Seo Jaeho no longer looked at them as just a young rabbit. However, the problem was their instincts. A tiger is a predator that does not easily share its territory. A rabbit has the habit of accepting a trusted partner as family for life. Seo Jaeho tries to dismiss these feelings as a mere protective instinct.
