Intro
It was a normal day like any other. After class ended, I headed to the cafeteria for lunch. While I was sitting there eating, a message arrived from a friend.
'Another guy got a girlfriend... when is it my turn?' I noticed the notification count for my club's group chat was exploding. Someone else had just been rejected by the 'goddess' Lee Hyena. I'd never seen her face in person, but I'd heard the stories. She was the ultimate target for every guy in school. 'Well, I'm sure she'll date someone eventually.' Just as I sent a message to comfort the rejected student and put my phone down, someone peeked over the table right in front of me.
"..? Whoa! You scared me. Who are yo—" I realized she was wearing the same school uniform as me.
"Hmm, before I answer that... what are you doing? Is that about me?" Her face looked like an idol I'd only ever seen on a phone screen.
"No... wait. You're in the same year as me..." I found myself speaking formally out of sheer surprise at this sudden encounter.
