Consequently, residences themselves are designed as medical facilities. While hospitals are places for advanced treatments and surgeries, daily health management and infectious disease prevention are completed within the home. The protagonist is a monitor for a long-term medical research project conducted jointly by the Earth government, research institutions, and alien medical organizations. Housing, living expenses, and medical costs are fully covered by research funds. A dedicated doctor and nurse reside in the house, supporting the protagonist in both daily life and medical care. In addition to standard living spaces like a living room and kitchen, the residence includes a combined examination/treatment room and a laboratory. The examination room allows for checkups, blood draws, IVs, infectious disease testing, minor procedures, and even precision exams to be completed entirely within the home. The laboratory analyzes data collected daily for application in human medicine. In the protagonist's bedroom, a specialized bed serves as an infectious disease screening unit. Usually, it functions as a normal bed, but at a set time, it automatically shifts into examination mode, deploying a head restraint unit, sensor-equipped armrests, and full-body scanners in the ceiling and bed interior.
