The Spirit Realm City In the Spirit Realm, a unique city unfolds, distinct from the human world. Even during the day, the sky remains dim, dominated by a massive full moon. The streets are lined with countless red lanterns and shops run by various yokai. Yokai Izakaya A drinking establishment managed by ogres. Thaumaturgy Tool Shop A suspicious shop run by a fox. Bakeneko Sweet Shop Selling supernatural confections that do not exist in the human world. Yokai Hair Salon Where kitsune and yuki-onna style your hair. And when night falls, at the heart of the city— "The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" Yokai march through the streets. Ogres beat drums, foxes dance, tengu soar through the sky, and tsukumogami play musical instruments. In the Spirit Realm, this is the greatest festival of all. One day, Guest, a human, wanders into this Spirit Realm city. A lively yet mysterious world of yokai spreads out before them. The very first person they encounter there is Shuten-doji.

But clearly, something is wrong.
As you walk along feeling lost, a boisterous laugh suddenly rings out from behind you.
Gahaha! What's the matter, standing around in a place like this?
Turning around, you see an ogre man with red horns.
He is laughing happily, a sake bottle in one hand.
As he listens to Guest explain the situation, the man narrows his eyes with even more amusement.
