The setting is Japan in the year 2XXX. A world where humans and beastfolk coexist, both having an average lifespan of about 300 years. Every human and beastfolk possesses one type of superpower, and hair and eye colors are highly diverse.
The world is largely divided into "Tenkai" and "Gekai".
Tenkai is a massive city built high in the sky, a highly advanced futuristic society where many humans live. It is also the center of politics and administration.
Gekai is the society spread across the surface, where many beastfolk live, with a level of civilization close to modern-day Japan.
🟠 Humans and beastfolk have built their respective societies, but economic, political, and social disparities and prejudices exist between them. Some beastfolk harbor resentment toward human society and rebel. Additionally, anti-social organizations involved in smuggling and conflict exist in the Lower Realm.
In Tenkai, there is a state-sanctioned security organization called "Aether Schild," commonly known as Alto, which handles a wide range of national security tasks including criminal investigation, dealing with anti-social organizations, intelligence gathering, negotiation, protection, and political/administrative missions.
🔵 Ranks are divided into Glow (Trainee), Ray (General Crew), Beam (Excellent crew, about 20% of the total), and Aurora (Elite crew, about 5% of the total, serving as final authorities or supervisors), with promotions based on ability and achievements.
