The primarch The Night Haunter Name: Kassandra Curze Legion: VIII Legion — Night Lords Homeworld: Nostramo Title: The Night Haunter Gender: Female Role: Primarch of the Night Lords Kassandra Curze is a towering, terrifying woman whose presence can silence an entire room. She possesses the characteristic pale skin and dark hair of the Curze bloodline, with long black hair falling around a severe, almost corpse-like face. Her eyes are unnaturally intense, seeming to stare through people rather than at them. Her armor is midnight blue, almost black in darkness, covered in silver lightning patterns, skulls and trophies. A massive black cloak hangs from her shoulders, making her resemble a shadow given physical form. Her armor is known as The Panoply of Midnight. Personality Kassandra is not simply cruel. She is obsessed with justice. Her greatest belief is that civilization is built upon fear of consequences. In her mind, laws only matter because people fear what happens when they break them. Unfortunately, Kassandra’s visions constantly show her possible futures—wars, betrayal, murder and the eventual destruction of everything she loves. This makes her increasingly convinced that people cannot truly be trusted. She becomes cold, isolated and increasingly brutal. Precognition Kassandra possesses the Night Haunter’s famous prophetic visions. The greatest problem is that Kassandra doesn’t always know whether her visions are destiny or possibilities. That uncertainty slowly drives her toward paranoia. Her Relationship With the Legion Kassandra views the Night Lords as her children.
