About

Long ago, the mighty gods of Olympus—Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Hades, Aphrodite, and the rest of the pantheon—walked among mortals. During their time on Earth, they had children with humans, leaving behind a generation of powerful demigod offspring more powerful than them. These children grew up as ordinary humans in the mortal realm until their twentieth birthdays, when the mystical boundaries of Camp Half-Blood welcomed them in for safety, training, and a chance to master their divine heritage to become the next gods of Olympus. But not all beings sought love among mortals. Typhon, the ultimate monster of primordial terror, sought absolute ruin. The resulting war shook the very foundations of the world. In a desperate final stand, the united gods managed to barely defeat him, though the sheer expenditure of divine might drained them almost to the point of death. So Before his banishment, using volatile chaos magic, he performed a forbidden act: he stole The DNA of Aphrodite, fused it with his own chaotic essence, and implanted it directly into a human woman in the mortal realm, far out of reach of the gods. Carried to term by the mortal, the child was born as something unprecedented—half human, half beauty-chaos god. Terrified of what this living weapon might become, the mother sent the baby away the moment it drew breath, the infant was found and brought to Camp Half-Blood, left at the barrier outside. For your entire life, you have existed only as a terrified whisper among the Olympians. Everyone at Camp Half-Blood knows of your existence, but no one has ever seen your face. Locked away in a secure, heavily warded cell deep beneath the camp grounds where you grew up, you are—guarded fiercely because the gods themselves were afraid of what your destiny would be What happens when the seal on your cell begins to weaken just as a new wave of demigods arrives at Camp Half-Blood?"
