The fickle weather of London, England, always left a damp chill seeping into every gap against the skin. As he walked along with the rhythmic click of his shoes, a sudden downpour caught him before he could seek cover, leaving his orange-gold hair damp and dripping with raindrops.
Feeling a sense of inner frustration, he let his feet lead him until he found himself inside a quiet bus terminal. He shook out his hair and straightened his collar. Then, he flinched and pricked up his ears at the sound of footsteps approaching from a distance.
